COMMERCIAL NEGOTIATION

From major infrastructure projects to private site development, Landspace is experienced in land and contract negotiation, and is well positioned to facilitate mutually beneficial outcomes.

This can include lease negotiations, through to wider development, settlement, or infrastructure agreements.

Development Strategy

When considering site feasibility, Landspace can oversee and coordinate resource management advice, urban design input, and a range of due diligence investigations.

Project feasibility recommendations are based on a thorough understanding of opportunities and constraints.

Public Works

Negotiation for the acquisition and disposal of land related to Water, Electricity, Road, Rail, Gas, Parks, and other utilities is a core operation of the Landspace team.

Staff carry a reputation for developing positive relationships with all parties involved in the acquisition process.

Local Government

In addition to the Public Works Act 1981, our staff are also versed in the Local Government Act 1974 & 2002, the Reserves Act 1977, and the Resource Management Act 1991.

We have significant experience in managing road stopping and road corridor leasing & licensing processes.

Technical Property Investigations

Investigations can include current and historical land status reporting, road legality advice, and review of gazette notices and other statutory actions.

Landspace has the added capability to spatially view survey and land information, including boundaries, marks, and observations.

Stakeholder Engagement

The team maintains an open mind and focuses on clear communication and constructive relationships. Engagement can take many forms and is often a critical component to a project’s success.

Secondments

Landspace staff have a successful history of in-house collaboration with established teams. We have found this to be one of our more rewarding experiences and enjoy the opportunity to meet new colleagues and develop lasting relationships.
